I would love to introduce here one of the Creative Artist in the Fashion industry, a Designer and an International Entrepreneur, the Founder of JM Brand-Julia Mingaleeva. Her art and invention represent the true spirit of her work. Get ready to discover Fashion from a different glance. But before we start, I want to start with the question what is True Art?

I would add JM's brand to this category of True Art. It is one of those rarest and most highly valued brands. Rarest, because you won't find such spirit and high taste in things in the modern world, especially in Fashion. JM brand is something special, rare, and unique that you can feel the art, see the love that was put into it, and a significant contribution to the Fashion Industry and creativity. Her clothes show true elegance and deliver a knowledge of the etiquette of fashion.

Let's discover!

Dear Julia, I would like to hear more about your story as a Fashion designer and about JM Brand.

How and when you realized that Fashion is yours and which process you had to go through to realize that this is your purpose?

“Fashion is a reflection of the soul. It’s an invitation to discover your inner world.”

I believe that life's calling is not what we find - it is what finds us and defines us. We are like a puzzle in a big quest named “life calling”. Fashion was always in my life in one way or another. It’s a lifetime experience, a million micro-decisions that brought me to who I’m today. Life has a turning point which is to push you to grow and this is exactly what guided me to this purpose.

ree

I saw your sketches. You draw by yourself and create stunning designs. Where do you take inspiration?

I’m constantly observing the world around me, traveling, looking for inspiration, and analyzing how things work. I find beauty in the mundane, and my creative process is deeply intertwined with my emotions and experiences. For me, design isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life.

Let's dive deep into the art. What does it mean for you your art and what meaning do you put into your creations?

Is the right description that your passionate work is like oxygen that you can't breathe without? Doing what you love and are passionate about- it must sound like this.

ree

Creating and designing are fundamental parts of my identity and daily life. It can be compared to breathing, as it's an automatic response that I can't live without. It's a passion that gives me purpose and fills me with a sense of fulfillment. For me designing is not just a profession, it's a calling!

I would like to hear more about your unique style taste and fashion itself. Where this unique design idea came from to you?

If I can correctly describe it, I see that through your art and the images that you create, you enable Western girls to discover that balance of elegance and femininity through modest yet stylish images, and for women from the East, your images give more openness and femininity.

It is like the combination of two cultures, and I think that it is so creative and unique.

You are absolutely right. JM is a combination of the best qualities of two cultures in one brand. The modesty, beauty, and mystery of the East and the practicality of the business West. It all started when I covered my hair and it was very difficult to find a fashion formula in order to look appropriate, and not be misjudged because of my appearance. So I started to my modest line. I want to meet modest women's desire to wear the clothes that fit the life and times they live in. I design collections in a modest way. Modest fashion means a lot to me. It is all about grace, confidence, and above all, comfort. It's so common that people relate modest fashion to religion. But dressing modestly is much more than that. Let's just say that modest fashion is a choice of each woman that doesn't want to reveal too much of her body. In reality, there is no one definition of conservative fashion. There are no rules for dressing modestly or how a modest woman looks. Modest dressers are not attached to any religion, size, or race.

I think in modern society a lot of misunderstanding of the meaning of elegance. Some might wear clothes that are too open which shows parts of the body by considering it elegant or the opposite, they might put on oversize clothes that do not highlight the body. But if we dive even into the history of etiquette and elegance, starting from the Royal families and celebrities till the modern business world of aristocrats let's say, it is a way not close to even what we see now and most women wear now.

JM brand, I think is more close to true etiquette and elegance.

By your work, you are not just doing creative work, you wanted to deliver some messages, am I right? If so, what is this and what changes do you want to make in fashion?

I think my main concern is to make people more conscious about their fashion choices and to bring their attention to it. By the end of the day, we all need a soul connection, to share life with, to feel warm with, and to be able to exchange thoughts and ideas. It is all about social connection and belonging and identity. We are life itself, we are souls, and we need to communicate with one another. What you put on yourself is also a way of communication. You might ask: How this does connect to your fashion choice? It is all about making a conscious choice to dress in a way that aligns with your values, beliefs, and priorities. I want people to wear clothes that represent their inner selves to the outside world. Wearing clothes that matter is more than just fashion and appearance. Our clothing expresses who we are. It sends messages about us, and it influences the way we and others act and perceive each other. When we are well-groomed and modestly dressed, we can invite the companionship of the Spirit and exercise a good influence on those around us.

So our outer look says more about us and it is a way how we want to deliver our inner world and true self. Makes whole sense!

I heard also that in Kinetic science, more specifically in Kinetic image science the way how you dress and look also sends signals to those around us on a micro level that unconsciously people will have certain opinions based on how you look and move. Kinetic science has also done many types of research on how your appearance, the clothes you wear, and your movements affect other people, and based on the analyses, they teach women and men about elegant looks.

Why do you do what you do? I know a lot of people do, create a business with different purposes:  just to be seen, earn money to go through their daily needs, be famous, or become #1 end so on, without knowing what is the meaning behind it. But yours is different. I see the spirit in your art, creativity, and taste in fashion, I see the love and meaning that you put into it. Tell me more about these things.

You see, I think it’s a very good question to ask the “why” behind things.

There is no one answer to this, some people do it as a business, others as a profession

But for me it’s never about what I get in return, it’s about what I can give and do, I strongly believe that it’s my “Life Calling”.

ree

I want to hear more about what makes you keep going?

When you make things meaningful for the people around you by making a positive impact in other people’s lives.

Giving them a purpose, a goal, a hope for a better tomorrow whether it’s in life, inside or outside the industry.

ree

What would you recommend to those, who want to do something big, they feel they can do, but don't know how to be tuned to their core desire of creating or doing something special? Or they might simply be afraid of starting.

What advice you would give those?

It's important to note that simply having a passion for something is not enough to guarantee success. You still need to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve, develop a strategic plan, and take deliberate action steps to move toward your goals. You also need to be willing to learn, adapt, and grow as you encounter obstacles or face setbacks.

However, start with your passion and let that fuel your actions, and you may be surprised at what you're able to achieve.

When you're pursuing something with genuine passion, you tend to radiate a certain energy and enthusiasm that attracts others who share your interests or can help you in some way. You may find that opportunities and resources start to present themselves to you in ways you never anticipated. You may also find that you're able to connect with others who can provide guidance, support, or collaboration, which can further propel you forward.

It was deep and inspiring! Thank you for giving such a deep discovery of the core values of JM Brand, and explaining what is the behind of understanding of Fashion, that teaches us to look at fashion from a different perspective.

I hope, dear readers, you can find it inspiring, or maybe you found something that aligns with your interests. I hope, that you can be able to exhaust something useful from this for yourself that will awaken you to certain actions.
